Our
magazine is published 11 times a year with the December and January issue being
combined which gives the Editorial Committee a bit of a break. The magazine is
posted out in the first week of the calendar month. Articles covering a wide range
of topics are published and the ladies' section includes not only recipes but also
articles on collections of interest. Whilst most of the contributors to Collector's
Corner have been ladies we have had a gentleman write about his collection of
models, and we have also featured one of our male member's hobby of making rugs
(beautiful rugs) - we are always on the look out for new collections - so don't
be shy let us know about yours. Informative articles on Vintage Machinery are
the staple of the magazine.
Members
are encouraged to send their contributions and can rest assured that any photo's
sent will be scanned and returned to them. One member suggested running a series
on our members "sheds". After all as the member in question pointed
out we see the end product in many cases but not how it all came about - he felt
that many of the "sheds" would be worth looking at in their own right
- so how about it? Are you willing to share your "shed" with the rest
of us. If a topic interests you - you can guarantee there will others who will
be interested too so please think about it and if you want to ring and discuss
it with Neil - the Magazine Convenor - please do his details are below.
